Ekaete Obot Bailey has been writing since she was a child, creating fantastic tales that made her stuffed animals come to life. Poetry and short stories followed with published poetry chapbooks, articles, screenplays and research journals in her portfolio.

A creative soul, Ekaete's passions have led her into theatre, poetry, screenwriting, playwriting, filmmaking, music, and motivational speaking.

Ekaete loves people, art, advocacy, history and the constant hope that God can (and will) reach anyone at any time. Ekaete enjoys the blessing of being a wife and a mother – two lifelong dreams that have come true. The other dreams, well those are a work in progress...
